For those who were not so lucky and had to have a surgical repair of rotator cuff. The surgery itself, open or arthroscopic, just a beginning of the journey to recovery. It is a long process of rehabilitation, and you need very meticulously follow all orders and recommendations of your surgeon. Once you reach the step of post operative rehabilitation of your shoulder when you are ready for active motion, you need to be sure that you do not exceed the recommended range of movement. My system will prevent that and only allow you to rotate your shoulder for the certain degree, with increments of the motion of fifteen(15) degrees. You can start with neutral position and gradually increase your active motion, until you reach the full range of internal and external rotation. After that, all you need to do is just to keep your rotator cuff muscles strong by doing the same simple exercise in the maintenance regiment.

One of the common mistakes in the process of nonsurgical treatment of rotator cuff is that people, once they reach a positive results, stop to exercise, and, sooner or later, have the same problems back. I would recommend at least sixty days of active, every day rehab with  following maintenance exercise one-two times a week. It only takes about ten minutes a day in the comfort of your own home.
